This is Nevada’s oldest and largest state park, filled with petrified wood and unusual rock formations.
The Ride (128 miles): Take I-15 north from Las Vegas for 51 miles to SR 169 at Exit 93. Follow SR 169 through Logandale and into the park via the Valley of Fire Road and back to I-15 for 45 miles. I-15 south will take you the 32 miles back to Las Vegas. If you’re game for a side trip to Mesquite, head north on I-15 for 50 miles. With world-class golf courses and beautiful spas, it’s well worth the detour.
